The Empowerment Degree

Course Details:

This two year LL.M. program empowers the LL.M. program empowers the LL.M. Scholars in three specific areas of their choice, i.e. Business & International Trade Law, Human Rights & Gender Justice and Criminal Law & Justice. This research based degree helps develop critical and analytical skills in the candidates on the specific legal issues as well as best international practices in order to bring about a change in legislative policy reform for the overall betterment of the country.

This two year English medium LL.M. course offered by CHBEA College of Law is managed by well experienced faculties /professors along with a roster of eminent jurist and national experts. The LL.M. Degree of this institution is designed to empower and prepare the graduates to undertake legal profession in various avenues of law, both in Nepal and abroad. This degree aims to enhance individual as well as institutional competency for reforming the existing Nepalese Legal System and people's access to justice at with international standard.

The LL.M. academic session starts from June each year. This regular LL.M. courses is offered in the morning shift (i.e. 6:15-9:15 a.m.) to fresh law graduates (i.e. B.A.LL.B. /LL.B. /B.L. /D.L.) and well as in-service graduates representing the Judiciary, Attorney’s General Office, Nepal Bar Association & Legal Officers from various Ministries & Banking sector. Candidates will be selected through LL.M. entrance examination conducted by the College.
